????In 2016, Qingdao made the National Fitness Plan in the 13th Five-Year-Plan of Qingdao to show the theme that Participating in Exercise by All People to Make All People More Healthy and Happy. The city has held over 40 municipal-level or above and over 300 district-level national fitness activities. By the end of 2016, Qingdao has over 50 non-governmental non-profit sports associations and 268 non-government non-profit sports clubs.
